Pro tip: make sure if you JUST have the plastic part of the shower curtain liner, or if it’s one of those that feels like fabric but is waterproof, you should throw a couple towels in with it in the washer. The plastic/waterproof curtain will stick to itself if you just throw it in as is and will not get fully clean. But the towels moving around with it keeps that from happening and helps give it a lil scrub😊

You can also take the glass plate out of the microwave and put it in the dishwasher. then clean the rest of the microwave and especially underneath where the plate normally goes.

Cling wrap on the glass shelving in the fridge makes it so much easier to clean when there’s a spill or for the monthly scrub down too

Heres a tip, just wash your microwave platter like any other plate, in the sink.

Another good tip for cleaning the toaster, get one of those bottle brushes with the twitsted wire center and just brush it in and out after letting it cool down and that way you wont even have to worry about taking it apart and it will just as clean, and because some people are stupid ill say it again LET THE TOASTER COOL DOWN FIRST

Kudos for teaching the younger generation how to be a little more successfully independant.
I'm in my 60's. Which means that as a girl I HAD to take "home ec" classes in JR/Middle school. In high school I had to take them again only they were supposed to be more complicated. I was so bored in all of these classes as my home life was such that I was doing these things when I was ten. All of the cooking, cleaning, laundry and my grandmother was teaching about sewing. That being said... as I grew to adulthood I was astounded by the number of people who could not do simple things in life like cleaning and Including my own younger brothers and my dad. It was crazy.

Thankyou for your tip on the grease catcher for the rangehood. I've cleaned it before, but never though of just using boiling water.. way easier
