Thanks from me, too. I could see that the procedure you described would work if the parts didn't break, but without seeing your video, I wouldn't have believed that those small plastic protrusions would survive the attempt. Once you showed me it would actually work, I fixed our V8 in just a few minutes. :)

Thanks - it sure looked like it would break but the plastic seems to be tough yet flexible enough to do it - and it indeed is - you have to push that flathead screwdriver very hard while stabilizing the container on a solid non-skid surface. Before viewing your video I was sure that those pivot points were destined to break.👍 👍 Great help !
