Jacque discusses the alternative concept of competent democracy. He goes into the differences between making decisions and arriving at decisions, and using the latter for social operation. Abrupt changes might have occurred unexpectedly for many, but some planned it and executed that according to a thought out process that was formed and planned out despite the result and whether all goals were met. Usually the effect and business results are met...it's the measure of collateral damage and human life lost that is considered a "necessary loss" in order to achieve a financial and power + influence gain. I miss this man! Venus Project needed this man. And I'm very very disappointed by the fact that such a legend isn't around. I have listened many of his audio and everything he is saying is so advanced and he just seemed to be a guy from the far feature. This is the man who had most impact to my views.

I've been following Jacque and promoting the Venus project for about 15 years, bought the book and subscribe to his philosophy. I think it's a shame that his words are behind a pay-wall, they shouldn't be.

I'd say Jacque is being quite reasonable here! :) It's a sure thing you can't reason with dogma or culture, let alone accurately define what's reasonable or not. It depends on your education and so many other things. I hope one day humanity becomes human again and thus reasonable.

There is no doubt that jacque was a unique and very special person. Not everyone can think how jacque can think as everyone feels differently about different things so you might feel one way about black people for example whereas other people don't care. Yes conditioning and indoctrination from the environment plays a role in teaching hate but how to stop people from feeling insecure to begin with around that which is not like themselves?

I'm not sure you'll ever be able to abolish things like racism and hatred of others completely because people feel differently about different things. We not only look different but we all have different brains. As much as we try to think we can change people based on using the methods of science, intelligence, reasoning and logic, not all of us can because we are a feeling based species. We judge the world (mostly) on how it makes us feel.

So somehow you have to work on changing how people feel about change to change them. You have to provide them with something that imbues a different feeling that resonates with them as an individual.
