How to stream your guitar from your DAW using OBS! - Guitar Live Stream Set Up

This took me so long, literally years to figure out. After countless attempts on many different softwares, I'm so happy to find something that works. Hopefully it works for you too!

How are there so many Guitarist on Youtube and no mention of this?! Do they all record a seperate audio track and a seperate video track, then put that into editing software, then synch those two files? Jeez this technology should be mainstream. PSA: If you're a Reaper user, the ReaRoute ASIO driver has the same functionality built in. And if the program you are sending audio to is 32 bit, you need to have the 32 bit version of Reaper installed.

If anyone has trouble installing patches you need to put the patchers in the folder where it is installed then open it. Also put the x64 patch in the x64 folder and do that there too. I did that and its working fine.

Man!!!! This video literally saved my life... Ive had this issue like 5 years ago, when i started streaming my guitar playing, and decided to stop doing it just because what i played somehow had latency compared to the backing tracks I was playing over, and that latency didnt exist from my point of view, only when I recorded through OBS, or streamed, could I hear that terrible 20ish ms lag, which made me look like I have terrible sense of time :) THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN!
