You just substitute "kylemanna/openvpn" with "mjenz/rpi-openvpn" and the rest of the commands shown in this video should work.

Complete novice with R-pi and all this stuff but guys like you make getting the feet wet nice and easy. Excellent guide, made the setup incredibly straight forward even with the separate image being used.

I'ts my second weekend trying to configure VPN. My builtin feature of my tplink router was garbage or more windows oriented and i was not sure what i was doing. Your turorial work like a charm. I had to find how to install and configure docker first. Everything worked out of the box thank you !!!!

Pure gold. Solved a big problem for me, to be able to access the files on my server from outside my home when i'm traveling; also, my ISP didn't wanted to open port 80 in my router, so traefik and filecloud was a bit out of the question for me. Thanks!

Hello, thanks for your help! I did all but I was unable to either connect through network-manager in Arch Linux, since it requests a user private key to save the new imported configuration, or in Android, since it did nothing after adding the file. How to solve it? thanks in advance!

Thanks for the video, everything worked fine!
I had to troubleshoot bit, because I have ISP provided crappy optical modem/router/WiFi combo, which has only one gigabit ethernet and it is connected to Linsys EA6300 (with DD-WRT cfw) for my internal GbE network and good wifi, so I had to first port forward from EA6300 to OMV server, then from ISP's router to EA6300 and then connected without an issue,

SMB shares work in my Android as well fine

one more thing, i think modification of restart policy from never to "always" or "unless stopped" is necessary, otherwise every omv reboot requires manual startup of the container

Niiiice! This was driving me crazy. I just couldn't get Linuxserverio/openvpn-as to let me connect. More recently I couldn't even start the server... something went (very) wrong with the permissions, I guess. Thanks, I'll try your setup soon!
