The levels are big, but it’s NOT open world.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much of a huge improvement this port is from the last gen console versions. The lighting system looks so much better, SVOGI adds a lot. This game actually ranges from 720p-900p in docked mode when it was sub HD on last gen consoles, and there’s a lot more foliage here than the last gen versions had, and at the same time, the framerate is a lot more stable too, even though it could still tank when you’re blowing stuff up, the last gen versions often hung in the 20s even if not much was happening.

I played and beat the Switch port of Crysis Saturday afternoon this past weekend! Boy was the final boss a hectic stress bucket! Great game other than that!

Pass! I'm not a fan of military games, give it a horror facade and I'm in

I remember overclocking and linking video cards when this came out, eventually water cooled the system. Was a big thing to do back then.
Even then we had stutter.

Bought it on day 1 and I'm extremely disappointed. The blur effect and frame drops make it unplayable most of the time and it's very laggy, so I got massive headaches. I'm not that sensitive normally and a Wolfenstein or Doom on Switch are absolutely playable for me, but not Crysis. Another big downer are the crashes, which happen almost every playsession. Very sad.
