Usps will hold packages for free for 30 days. Just put general delivery on it. I use this option as a hiker and have all kinds of packages waiting for me across America

As a truck driver, I have used Amazon drop boxes as well.or walmart ship to store

You can also send Amazon packages to an Amazon locker if they are available in the area.

If you get a box for the year, they will accept all mail, forward for free to closes ups store and hold packages for free.

Way easier method- general mail at any usps in the us. They will hold your mail for 30 days.

Another (international) solution is "Poste Restante", shortened to "PR", together with the town's name, and the Post Office in that town will sit on your shipment 'til you pick it up.

When and if USPS does ever deliver packages to their final destination, General Delivery is great. Never send any packages between November 15th and January 31st. They will get lost in transit or sent to the opposite coast 8 times for no reason and show up damaged beyond repair.

I love your life I sold a business when I was 27 me and my young wife took off across the country a man walked up and offered me the number I wanted for my business and I told her no let’s go let’s leave and we did not go home and get anything we didn’t have to we had enough money I spent two years from Canada all over all of America and the one thing I can say is it was the greatest thing that I ever did in my life and I will always be grateful that I got to see all the people and this great country we have keep up the good work

You can also use a mail forwarding service like Escapees where you can register with them, have a physical address, register to vote in that state, and register your vehicles. They collect your mail and you can view pictures online - you tell them what to toss, what to hold and when you are ready, have it forwarded to wherever you are.

You can do the same at usps just have whatever your getting marked “general delivery” it’s free and it works on Amazon you’ll never have to pay to pick it up and never need to pay for a P.O. Box again this trick was taught to me by a usps employee
