Can I Survive 50 Disney 50th Happy Meals?

It’s the 50th Anniversary of #DisneyWorld! To celebrate, #McDonalds is trying to incapacitate me with 50 *new* Happy Meal toys—complete with special stands featuring iconic theme park scenes. Can I collect all 50 before time runs out… in one day?

my boss gets happy meal toys to put around the office. i told him i was looking for tramp to go with the lady one i have (lady and the tramp is my favorite disney movie) and when i came in one day he handed me tramp! it's the little things lol.

You make a good point, would've much rather seen The Hatbox Ghost golden statues, Hitchhiking Ghost golden statues, maybe the country bears, orange bird, brayer rabbit and brayer fox, and a pirate all should've been made into statues.

I’m sure many a Disney fan have gone on this same hunt for the toys. Your arguments about who they picked for the toys/for the 50th statues is my exact same thought. I saw the 50th statues in person in September and the ones that confused me the most were Bo Peep (when BUZZ should have been paired with Woody!), Bambi, Thumper, and the total lack of princess representstion in any of the character choices.

The nice thing about McDonald's is the happy meal toys can never be too rare, since there's so many McDonald's in the world and every single one has the same toys you're bound to find the toys pretty much anywhere for any price

As someone who ate a whole bunch of Happy Meals for Pokémon a few months ago, the trick to not dying if they won’t sell you the toy…hot cakes keep well in the fridge, apple slices, opt out of the yoghurt, and sub a water bottle. This is for Canadian McDonalds I’m not sure if it works the same in the US

I actually got Mickey, Dale and Genie before I gave up and gave them to my friend who was collecting them and needed those for her collection LOL. I discovered recently though that a nearby library has the entire set on display.

I really love lady and the tramp!! I love the cute family setting, with the narrating orchestra for all the movements. It keeps the story high energy, while being easy to sleep to. Very retro <3. Plus the live action movie was filmed nearby me while I was in college, so it's pretty nostalgic for me. Fun fact they used a snow blower in front of a cathedral down the block from me, and I remember passing by all the palm trees covered in snow, but the funny thing is, it ended up REALLY snowing that next year. Could have made for some beautiful shots they were looking for!

Dan. We must live in different versions of PA because when I went to get the whole Disney World Train each toy on its own was only 89 CENTS. I didn’t even have to buy the food, I just got the 5 toys I needed and walked out the door. (This was in New Bethlehem PA).

I have no idea what restaurant was gonna charge you over 3 bucks for just the toy. That can’t be policy, they ought have been trying to scam you (pocket the cash)
