I've raised and butchered Orpingtons and buckeye roosters, and after processing they will be 4-6lbs. My Orpington was the largest at 6 lbs. Buckeye hens will lay continuously throughout the winter without supplemented light their first winter laying eggs, the next year they usually take a break for a few months.

I'm a bit surprised the Brahma and Sussex chickens aren't on this list. Each was the favorite commercial meat breed in their heyday.

Cornish cross chickens can indeed reproduce. I have bred them with huge success.

Gersey Giant take too long to growth. The Cornish cross can be produce egg if you don't over feeding them. I am sure one can raise them for both meat and layer after few years of selection.

Your YouTube video is little misleading on lot of heritage breeds. You have first Orpington hen from poultry hatchery mills and the group of Orpington chicken are from exhibition buff Orpington chicken. There's a big difference between poultry hatchery so call dual propuse chicken breeds and exhibition dual propuse chicken breeds from breeders not hatchery mills birds.
