Homeworld 3 - Everything We Know

Homeworld 3 is an upcoming real-item strategy video game that is being developed by Blackbird Interactive and published by Gearbox Publishing. The game will be a direct sequel to 2003’s Homeworld 2, and is expected to be released in 2022. Let’s breakdown why the game is returning after all these years, the crowdfunding campaign, and some of the original team members who are returning to work on the game.

To the new people that may stumble on this, Homeworld is one of the most legendary strategy games of all times. You can't understand how huge this game is to our hearts and the sheer amount of flawless mods that have been created for this game.

Name another RTS with actual 3-Dimensional movement. Even games like Gothic Armada only have ships moving along a flat plane.

Homeworld is one of those games that you play for the story. Hopefully HW3 is just as exciting. I'm hoping they expand information on the Galactic Council, the ancients that made the hyperspace cores, and the Beast plague aftermath.

If they use the ballisitic weapon system for Homeworld 3, Doesn't that mean the multiplayer experience would get plagued with latency issues. I think that was a bad choice.
