Somtaaw Factions
The Beastslayers return! An iconic kiith, last playable in Homeworld:
Emergence returns in War Games. Adapting the fleet of the Hiigaran Navy,
the Somtaaw fleets combine classic firepower, with adapted mining
equipment. Somtaaw fleets prize survivability with reinforced armor and a
repair-capable Carrier. Kiith Somtaaw also brings two all-new ships to War
Games, the Acolyte Punisher strike craft and the Heavy Storm Frigate.

Taiidan Faction:
The Hiigaran’s original enemy, the Taiidan empire, returns in War Games. In
full throwback regalia, 10 classic ships from the original Homeworld join
Homeworld 3. The Taiidan bring all-new gameplay to War Games, including
the only buildable capital ship of all War Games Fleets, the fearsome and
iconic Missile Destroyer.

NOTE: DLC content requires Homeworld 3 to play. Nearly all DLC content is
usable only in the War Games mode.

Gearbox please give the homeworld license to BBI, its clear from HW3 gbx’s meddling will ruin it so it’s a lot better in the hands of the actual experts for Homeworld.

i really wish you just listened to all of us during development. you had all of these fans extolling the virtues of the older games and how hard they went on simulation of ships and projectiles with physics and momentum etc. and you just blew it. made CoH in space.

This feels like a funeral more than anything. They didn't even fix the reason this game got bad reviews: The Story.

and in their dying throes, they decided to piss on the somtaaw and taiidan (in no small part by locking them away in wargames, but also because its clear only a few ships are actually unique for the sometaaw.. and none of what the somtaaw get bar the Acolytes matches their old design even remotely, its more hiigaran main faction ships and nothing else), both factions coming from games better than anything they could cook themselves despite them being 20+ years old. They REALLY had to give that last middle finger to the fans.

Homeworld3 - is a disgrace to the entire franchise, thanks to GBX... I think, this game was killed by talentless/lazy/greedy people. The desire to shove incompatible propaganda and copy--paste materials from Homeworld Remastered Game - demonstrates this. Rob Cunningham has definitely gone into marasmus or his hands were tied. I don't know what to think. RIP Homeworld...

Fumbled it and didn't even care to stick around. Wouldn't be surprised if this is just an obscure way to drag the Somtaaw and Taiidan through the mud too by associating them with this sinking ship.
