They currently have an autonomous humanoid robot Eva which they sell for a reported $150,000. Will there be a robot in every household in the future? More competition the better. I think Boston Dynamics are still the leader in robotics

Optimus will probably have a communication module similar to ChatGPT 4 or whatever the state of that art becomes. The race will likely be in the design of the robot, it’s acceptability to humanity, and its ability to complete tasks in a variety of situations and be flexible in dealing with changing environments. It’s a huge challenge.
