Fun fact you can use a lighter to re seat the front 1/3 of a arrow fletching

Pro tip from an archery shop owner ( me) if you boil up some water you can set your arrows with wraps on into the water then peel the wrap off and the old vanes come with it. Then use acetone on a paper towel to quickly remove the wrap residue then reinstall new wraps and vanes. Never worry about gouging or removing carbon off arrows again

Am I supposed to have all this stuff when bow hunting. Im a novice in the realm of bow hunting and I usually just buy a pack of arrows that suit my needs. This guy is building his own, which is super cool but I kinda feel like it is somewhat unnecessary? Unless he just wanted to hunt with something he made which I can respect I don't see a clear advantage to doing this. Can someone explain?
