How to Cut Eggplant - Hellman's Kitchen Shorts

🌱 🍆 Quick and easy way to cut your eggplant! Feel free to use the peels for a vegetable broth if you’d like. 👌

🌊 Back when I cooked in the US Coast Guard, besides eggplant Parmesan every so often and ratatouille, I didn’t use eggplant very often to cook with.

👨‍🍳 Now that I’ve been experimenting more with eggplant, I can tell it is one of the best veggies to absorb a marinade. Standby for a nice asian marinade I put together and used on eggplant, to go into my stir fry.

📝 Instructions
✅ Peel the eggplant
✅ Slice in half, down the vertical axis
✅ Place your palm down, tightly holding the halved eggplant, then carefully slice in half again
✅ Cut into 1/4’ slices, then into 1/4’ cubes
