It can transport a hefty payload of up to 1,250 kg without breaking a sweat. And with a new 213 PS EcoBlue Bi-turbo engine boasting 500 Nm of torque, plus an advanced new 10-speed automatic transmission, Ranger’s got the muscle to tow up to 3.5 tonnes.

In the safety of a private test track, that could be way more. Like an almost-100 metre long train of caravans that weighs about 20-tonnes.

You’ll probably never need to tow 15 caravans yourself. In fact, we’d strongly recommend you don’t even try. But it’s proof (should you need it) that Ranger’s got what it takes to get the job done, whatever you hitch it up to.

With a ground clearance of 229 mm and a wading depth of up to 800 mm, the New Ranger is practical, capable and able to get you pretty much anywhere.

These talents are matched by intelligence in a range of clever, useful technologies.

SYNC 3, for example, is the most advanced version to date. It’s fast, easy to use, and has enhanced voice commands along with even more functionality. The colour touchscreen features the same pinch-and-swipe gestures you’d find on your smartphone or tablet, which means more intuitive navigation. SYNC 3 also features AppLink, and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, to display your smartphone’s information on the touchscreen.

There’s Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane-Keeping Aid, and parking sensors. Plus, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control and Active Park Assist.

And for the first time, the New Ford Ranger is available with a built-in FordPass Connect modem. This technology enables you to remotely lock and unlock your vehicle, receive live traffic updates, and even provide a WiFi hotspot for you and your passengers. You won’t get that in an ordinary pick-up.

As for safety, the New Ford Ranger incorporates a range of smart systems to help protect you, your passengers and other road users. Some technologies, like airbags, help reduce the severity of a traffic incident. Others, such as Pre-Collision Assist, work to reduce the likelihood of an incident occurring in the first place. The vehicle is also fitted with advanced security systems, giving you peace of mind when storing your tools, sports gear or any other cargo.

From the comfortable, hardwearing interior, to the rugged, built for purpose exterior; every aspect of the New Ford Ranger has been precision engineered for versatility, reliability and capability.

Nettes Video, leider kommt ihr (Ford) ja seit Monaten nicht mit einem Probefahrt-Termin in die Kontakte.
Erst hatte der Händler bei dem ich einen Ranger hab stehen sehen keinen mehr zur Probefahrt, dann wollte Ford-Deutschland sich selbst kümmern aber außer einem Anruf bei welchem man mich nach drei möglichen Terminen gefragt hat ist da nichts passiert.
Vier Marktbegleiter waren da deutlich schneller, da habe ich mittlerweile Probefahrten gemacht und auch schon Angebote vorliegen...
