As we move through each of the scenarios you may want to pause longer than the time given to identify your responses, before being given the correct response in the subsequent slide.

The Safe Care Nursing Framework course consists of 4 modules which you can move through at your own pace.

Module 1: Critical Thinking and Introduction to the Safe Care Nursing Framework
-consists of understanding the current nature of critical thinking and an introduction to the Safe Care Framework.

Module 2: Guided Concept Mapping: Understanding Key Relationships
-demonstrates the use of guiding questions within the Safe Care Framework to construct a specific type of concept map. A case scenario is utilized in this module to assist you with this process.

Module 3: The Priority Setting Tool: Engaging In Critical Thinking
- introduces you to the second part of the Safe Care Framework: The Priority Setting Tool. In this module you will be able to take the understanding you have achieved from the concept map and apply it to identifying all actual and potential priorities of care.

Module 4: Case Presentation Into Action
- takes you through an acute care patient scenario where you can apply your understanding of the Safe Care Framework.
