The Difference Between Care & Caring

This multi award winning video talks about a time of increased demands on our healthcare system and healthcare providers, ensuring that each and every patient and their family members are provided with compassionate care is a massive goal, but one that the staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital are pursuing every day. Good quality care is always important, but caring for our patients is what they will really remember.

We might not have the best of salaries or working conditions, but we are here for a reason, to help, to make our world a better place and to give to our patients. Everyone will be here someday. That’s why caring and good healthcare is so important. Because we never know how much good healthcare means, until we’ve experienced it ourselves.

This video reminds me of how as a nurse, we used to be allowed to be "caring", not just to give "care". The demands we now face don't allow for "caring". New nurses are taught "care" not "caring".

wow, so powerful. it's hard not to cry watching this. My dad died about a year ago. I am so grateful for all the healthcare staff who took care of him in his final hours. They are true heroes to me. Sometimes angels walk among us. I am so grateful for their compassion and dedication.

I really like this video, because I know how difficult the task of health workers never stops providing good service to cure patients. especially elderly patients who remind their own parents, such as we serve and pay for everything parents have given. I like all parents in the world 💕
