Reviewing the Stihl ms211 Chainsaw

Advice from a non-professional to people who aren't professionals.

My dad bought this saw brand new in 2011. We dont use it much, only about 60 to 80 hours yearly but since 2011 we havent had a single fault or failure with it. Everything is extremely sturdy, only problem with it is when it sits for a while the oil leaks out of it but when you drain the oil it isnt too bad. Really good saw, very beginner friendly i would say

Hell I own this same Stihl 211 cut down 2 48year old pine trees that were a little over 50 feet tall and little over 30 inch girth trunks at the bottom all I can say about Stihl chain saws is there a hell of product worth every dam penny

I own this saw. This is the Saw you use to limb the tree that you cut down with a BIGGER CHAINSAW.
It's good for cutting 4" limbs

Do you have any views on the new 212 c-be stihl? Can’t find much info on it yet - as it is newer I believe

Hey Bald guy.
Your video has a lot of good info for someone looking to buy a saw, however I have to call “bullshit” that Stijl saws do not have a purge(primer) bulb.
I have a ms211c and it does have a purge bulb. I also have a Stihl BG55 leaf blower with a purge bulb. My favorite saw is an Echo cs3000t. This is a top handle 35cc saw I bought in 1986. It came with a 12” bar and starts with 1 pull!!
Great for tree trimming.
