Everyone is different but for me, your courses and videos hit the sweet spot :
- not too long to lose attention and just have time to follow and not
- and not too short to cover basics only

After taking the GitHub Followers course I am looking forward to doing this new CloudKit course in May. I have been spending the last week or so grinding learning CoreData and CloudKit and there isn't that much good up to date content on it, on top of it being a bit dense subject. So hopefully you will fill a lot of the holes in my understanding of it, even if it's just CloudKit and not CoreData. I also appreciate the focus on making your courses more to the point and less about the hour length, as a 'student' it's a mental block for me when the course is so long, I take forever to finish it and it delays me working on my own projects.

Any plans on potentially doing a course with Flutter 2.0? I just watched a recap that showed up in my suggestions and it looks pretty substantial. I’d be interested to see how you feel about it’s potential after digging into it a bit. I do native iOS too but it could be an interesting topic to go over.

Keep evaluating your interests, options and ROI against your most valuable resource, your time. Publishing and teaching seems to be one of your passions but didn’t hear anything specifically about that. Keep up the good work.

Just a thought but how about have DLC for the course? Have the main course be the MVP of the app. Then have the extra features like friends list, etc. be an extra purchase. Can have an all-in-one purchase (Deluxe Edition) or have different modules we can purchase in bite size chunks.

As I am typing I realize that might be hard to explain to people what you are doing and them being angry the DLC is not in the original purchase.

Honestly, if I made that much money just being my own boss, hell nah I’m not working for anyone else! Interview process is brutal, even if you’re a good developer, or an excellent developer, many companies will reject you anyway.

Looking forward to the mapkit component. Wish the DB/backend piece was on firebase to cater for community that wants to make platform agnostic apps. CloudKit is too restricting for both potential android versions of an app, as well as selling an app (spend stack example)
