We can use % for opacity too. I found it better to understand like what percentage of transparency do you want or how transparent should this be: 50%

Why did the text also become transparent when the opacity was only applied to the <img> ?

basically if yall dont know how to have a text over the image use position absolute and make z-index to - 1

I have an issue that when I apply opacity style onto the image it happens also to the text :(
