Real Closing Cost When Buying a Home at $325,000...Say What?

What are the real closing cost when buying a home? Closing costs are part of your costs when purchasing a home especially here in Phoenix Arizona. Closing cost on buying a house can be very expensive but can be negotiated in your purchase contract to have the seller pay for your closing cost as well.

The seller is actually not paying for your closing costs, you are actually financing your own closing costs through your loan but will save you some money upfront.

The rule of thumb that I use for closing cost for a first time buyer is to multiply 2.25% times the purchase price This will give you a pretty accurate dollar amount on what our closing costs on a house will be so you won’t be shocked at the end of the road.

So, remember this example is for my first time home buyer purchasing a house in Laveen Arizona. Your closing costs on buying a house might be different in your state and city. But this video explains what closing costs are and how they are submitted in your closing disclosure
