When we bought our first home not too long ago, we did not talk to our lender at all. I did not know where my 32k money was going, I feel the whole experience was horrible but was too excited about finally owning a property. Guys don’t make my mistake and do your due diligence.

Just ask the seller to pay 4.5 percent to all closing costs and prepaids :) Especially if you are VA.
