3:27 So, a 1uF capacitor is fine for this motor. But how does this requirement change vs motor size?

Is there a formula, or a rule of thumb? I want to get a slightly bigger motor.

I have a project where i am using a fan to blow a table wind turbine and my team would like to track the rpms from the dc motor. i bought the items you have in this video minus the breadboard power supply. i have a 9v power supply as well as a 9v plug for the arduino can this tutorial work for experiment since we don't want to power our motor but instead see the rotations from the rotor using the encoder?

Awesome, thanks for sharing. Gonna buy that motor driver and power supply. Isn't just too few 5V output? Just wondering if I would connect a bigger motor.

And also I don't know what cables buy to connect to the motor driver pins and to the motor.

I thought that pwm goes from 0 to 255, and not 20 to 200. Or am I wrong.
