As I am from Milan (Italy), Moscow has a special place in my heart. If you compare the "street pattern" of Moscow and Milan, you will see the same pattern: all the main streets go to the main Square, situated in the city center. The "Duomo Square", in Milan. The "Red Square" in Moscow. Both the squares are oriented along a direction "east-west". Both the Square have a Departement Store in the "North Side" of the Square. "La Rinascente", in Milan. "Magazini Gum", in Moscow. Both the Square have a Cathedral in their "east part", with the facade facing to the west. Namely: "Duomo Cathedral" in Milan, and "Sobor Vasilija Blazhennogo" in Moscow. And both the Cathedrals are illuminated by the sun when it set (late in the afternoon). And more to the street pattern: both Moscow and Milan have many concentrical "ring roads". I say it again: as a citizen from Milan, I breathe a "familiar feeling" when I am in Moscow.

Wow, so clean and appears safe. My friends and I were in Washington DC and while the tourist areas are clean, the nearby areas weren’t really safe or clean. We averaged 6’7” tall males so we walked at night, but no one else was

I have wanted to do a cross stitch kit of the beautiful turrets of the cathedral for many years but it is very expensive, more than I can justify paying, It is so stunning. The mall is sumptuous but rather empty, the architecture around the square is magnificent.
