i think you should keep in mind something about the effects in the trailer, the game havent even had an alpha test so its still very early in development, and as such most if not all of the effects are just temporary placeholders.

Looks like if Skyrim, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, World of Warcraft, Dragon Age and Diablo all had a baby together. The most awesome baby ever.

I just hope they make this game so that we can smoothly progress through the storyline(if there is one - I hope) without having to grind or farm side quests to level up so we can progress. Kinda like in the elder scrolls games where the sidequests were awesome but you could decide to completely skip them (even though you shouldn't) and still manage to complete the main storyline confortably.

It looks nice. I just hope those massive battles won't have too big of an impact on the performance of the game. Little bit more diversity in characters and races wouldn't be too bad either, graphics and gameplay look good. Keep on.

However the things he states have very few issues in the artists role:

Open world pvp is as easy as faction pvp and has been done tons of times before.

Instance part removal is also somewhat easy to do, just don't add instances. Sure the story might lack a bit but everyone can't be the hero. ;)

Impact is where it gets hard programming wise, not art wise (unless we are talking about some advanced regrowth and other such systems..

Classes and races is where it's heavy for artists.

The second I saw the Horse Drift and then read CookyGames comment I had to watch it twice to double check. A Horse that can Drift in any game should be crowned #1 on the charts. Anyway. I think combat looks a bit slippery. I feel characters slide around for no real reason. I also saw somewhat of a delay for the Archers. This should be a Cinematic but it looks like you used "real" footage. I hope the final released game looks a bit like the trailer does. Good luck with your game. I'm Subbed.

That's how bad they are at managing the internal core of their engine. They kept making games rather than concentrating on one game... Sad of it's potential.
