Bought a Model Y for mostly my mom to use, she and stepdad are longtime lefty activists living in a lefty neighborhood, and the neighborhood was scandalized to see a Tesla in front of their house. But the lefty neighborhood is full of GM and Toyota and BMW and all sorts of just awful companies with crimes going back many decades, and they run off to give money to Saudi Arabia and all sorts of bad people to fill their tanks. Tesla is still a great company doing great positive things, and yeah if we could hit the mute button on Musk the world would be a better place, but you are buying from the company and not from Musk.

Just saw a video earlier that a former Tesla owner just traded in their brand new Tesla Cybertruck (conspicuously wearing PA plates) to Ciocca Chevy. for reference this would be the big Corvette Dealer in Atlantic City NJ formerly known as Kerbeck...

since Elon is in PA right now giving away money to Voters, it DOES appear Ross is indeed right about the backlash.
