Yep. People don't realize that Tesla is already looking at their car sales like companies look at personal computer printer sales; the point is to sell as many as possible because most of the profits will come AFTER the sale.

No one except Tesla haters or just those who do not like the Cybertruck look is buying Rivian or any other etruck over cybertruck while using logic, reasoning and intelligence. Cybertruck is another "game changer" to use a well beaten up phrase. It is the best vehicle ever made for its class, just like every other Tesla. Quality, craftmanship, technology, safety, power stations, etc etc etc. Elon pretty much single handedly made the entire globe shift to EV's and renewable energy in general and thank god someone did.... or we may live in the stone age till we all go extinct if the "powers that be"/elitist had their way. The truth is finally coming out and I sure hope everyone.gets a good look at how many aspects of society DOES NOT have humanities and earths ecosystems best interest involved. From political, unions, pharmacuetical, medical, chemical, most manufacturing. Your better off trying to count sectors of society that are truly aligned with the logic of the good of the whole... it just hasn't been how things have been traditional run... EVER.

What is the average price of a new non-truck car in the US @$40k.
The price of an Y or a 3 is less than $48k and with state and federal tax incentives we are at @$40k. So comp on sticker price, no more sticker shock. EVs have much lower operating costs over the average life of a new car of 7yrs so Tesla's are now cheaper than the average US cars.
