FJR1300 THE, perfect machine. Ridden of bike but the FJR has to be my favourite. The shear power & torque are stunning and the braking and suspension beautifully balanced. The ease in adjusting the preload and adjustable screen, not to mention the protection from the elements. A bike that eats miles and delivers rider and pillion effortlessly

Nothing to do with flight simulation folks so feel free to skip, this is just a quick video for a motorcycle group showcasing a few bits I've added to my FJR. More flight sim content inbound very soon!

Nice bike, getting one soon. Appears you have a fender extender up front as well.

Great Video and Beautiful FJR! I am about to get my hands on my first FJR and was wondering what tires do you recommend? I wanted to go with Pirelli Angels GT, but if you have any advice, that would be awesome. Thanks ✌🏻😃

I’m in the U.S. and still have my 2006 AE version. This is the U.S. version of the AS model sold in Europe, with heated grips and the YCC-S electronic shift. I think these were sold here only from 2006 - 2009. I’ve added the following mods:

- Yamaha 39L top case
- MC Cruise full electronic cruise control
- Garmin 595LM GPS with TPMS (replaced rubber valve stems with metal stems)
- Sargent seat
- Rifle +5 tall +3 wide windshield
- Givi UT810 25L TankLocked tank bag

The Rifle windshield is big and ugly, but it definitely keeps the wind noise out of my helmet on long trips. If I were to do it again, I might try the CalSci, which would be somewhere between the short OEM screen and the Rifle barn door. An FJR is equally capable of pulling your arms off on acceleration and also still being comfortable 200 miles later.

I do love the colour....just gorgeous. My FJR went to a new home yesterday so just got the Super 10 for now. I’d definitely get a Gen 3 if ever I need to bikes again. A big yes to the rear carrier upgrade and love the tyre pressure sensor too. Great video. Thanks.

Hi I’ve just pick up a 2018 Fjr. Where did you get the engine guards from?

I knew this was bike for me after the first roundabout on a test ride from the dealer. I have tried one different screen so far which was rubbish. Will try the Givi. Just waiting to get my gearbox done under recall. Much better than the RT which I had several issues with. Have added the MV bar riser from Germany as my back was killing me but not any more. Also added the 32 amp Thunderbox for electrical accessories, saves so much work on wiring. Keep posting and ride safe.

thanks for sharing. I had my mindset on a BMW 1250 RT or K1600 but observed that they vibrated quite a bit and the reliability factor was considered. I have decided on the FJR 1300 and prefer the price, reliability, less vibration, and lack of clunkiness when shifting. Great vlog! thank you!

Good info! I was looking at The BMW 1600 and decided on The 2024 Yamaha FJR ES 1300, and I'm glad I did! Such a a great running bike! I also have a 1990 Yamaha VMax and a 1998 Suzuki 1500 LT. The engine guards you have, where can I get them? THANKS!

Hello 👋
Could I ask where you purchased the frame for the top box as I am considering getting the colour coded box.
Enjoyed your video.

I haven't ridden such a thing for fifty years, when I had my bright yellow Puch VS50 moped in my teens. Unfortunately I got taken off it by an artic trailer trying to overtake me on a country road and I ended up flying through the air for 60 feet. Still got the scars to prove it :-( If I was to start motor biking again though, the Yamaha FJR1300 would be a dream bike to own, it looks fantastic. Be safe out there matey boy!!!
