In the Phillipines during the war, banana sauce was developed to mimic spaghetti sauce, and provide people with nutrition they needed to survive. It was developed by a nutritionist and has become a dish with history. You can buy Banana Sauce.

I'm a Filipino. This is for every filipino who got offended to some of their reactions. Guys, we have different taste. They are just being honest instead of pretending they like it. I know the other woman with tattoos said mean things but so what. Atleast they tried.

-100 points for not telling the Moms to mix that Palabok! 😆

Susana is slowly becoming my favorite! She seems so open minded to new foods and trying different things.

The voices and short giggles of these mamas and abuelas warms the heart.

My mom was Mexican and she loved Filipino food, especially all the Filipino foods sold at our Catholic Church’s bazaars. This was a great watch, gracias mamahs! 🙏

Their mixed reactions to palabok and the Filipino spaghetti is understandable. It is an acquired taste for many, especially for a dish like the spaghetti that is traditionally savory.

Real people doing a real review. Well done ladies.

I really appreciated the lady with the black long sleeve blouse as I thought her reviews were honest, fair, and not harsh for the thrill of it. She pointed out that she wasn’t too fond of the spaghetti’s sweetness, but that does not take away from the spaghetti being delicious.

You should have had them try the pineapple drink. I think they would have loved it!

tip for the palabok: please mix it and the yellow stuff you see is just the egg yolk crumbing down because when they were preparing it, the egg did have some of the yolk crumble. not mixing the palabok very well especially after you added the calamansi or lime will be a little bland on some parts and won't have an even distribution of flavors

It really bummed me out seeing them hate the Spagetti for not being Italian when it is literally Fillipino. Yall shoulda told them about the Banana Ketchup before to prepare them because they were threw off by the sweetness lol. Its literally my favorite thing in the world

At 1st, I had the same reaction to the spaghetti. Like it wasn't my pallette, then outta nowhere I started craving it😂 with a salty side like Fried Chicken. Only had Jollibee once when I travelled to USA, but luckily we have friends that cook these dishes😊

As a filipino, i get it why spaghetti would be as nasty for their taste buds, but I would die to have a Jollibee spaghetti now. In PH for a dollar you can get that and eat your merry way.

I love them, the way they give they're opinion is unbiased.
