Why are you having the pavers 1/8 or 1/16 of an inch higher than the existing structure when you want the water to slope away? Is it to account for when you compact again?

Yea you alway compact to get the base right and that’s the problem with watching these videos everyone becomes a professional..I’ve been drinking today but bros right that shit will settle all different..and they be pavers water won’t flow over the top it flows underneath in that base which will freeze and blow that shit up …we use plastic on top of base sometimes when trying to direct water or a specific grade ..

Could you show us the prepping procedure please? Like figuring out the pitch and applying the road base?

I love watching your work. Can you tell me in a short way how you make sure the bars are 2 inches below grade? I'm assuming you find grade by what you want to match and level with correct?

I did a lot of work doing that stuff, that’s exactly how we did it.

We never used sand we used limestone grit and then sand to fill in the cracks between the pavers all on top of compacted 2RC gravel and a layer of weed mat

Give it a few months, a couple good rains & they'll be settling every which way.

I did sand. Two years have passed and everything is still in place. If you fail, then you did something wrong.

Písek odplave. Stačí přimíchat desetinu cementu, bude to soudržné a propustí to vodu

The amount of people in here that have zero idea on what this guy is doing is crazy . Go watch a video on installing paver patios . Then come back and delete your dumb comments before someone you know sees it .
