How Great Thou Art is one of the world’s most loved hymns, so it was a huge privilege being invited to write a new section for this 75th anniversary version. My co-writer Mitch Wong and I were keen in this new lyric to acknowledge the reality of the broken and warring world we live in - but then to sing with faith and hope over that. I loved seeing the song come to life in the recording moment - with 15 friends, some of the most wonderful worship leaders and artists around, joining together in the studio. Best of all, the proceeds - wherever this song is sung or listened to - will benefit The Stuart Hine Trust CIO bringing humanitarian relief in Eastern Europe.

I suffered from infertility tried for so many years to get pregnant. I always prayed to god to please bless me with a child. I was watching a mother play with her son on tik tok one day I cried and screamed to God "God please give me a that same day something in me told me to take a pregnancy test... it came back positive! I couldnt believe it I was in tears and in shock!I took more pregnancy tests and they all came back positive! A week after I found out I was pregnant I found a cross necklace a few steps away from where I worked at and I then knew it was really God all along and never left my side. I now have a 11 month healthy beautiful baby boy. He's turning 1 in a few days! God is good!

This is GREAT! In1986 my Mom came to my home after being in the hospital. My Dad had passed away 3 weeks before. It was hard to understand why it happened together, but after 57yrs of marriage they never wanted to be apart. I got to take her into my den and played How Great Thou Art for her. She passed away later that day. I can't wait to be with them again..when we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! Another great song you've done Matt Redman. Thank you!
