some teacher dont say anything about the Majapahit inspired vibes so most of Indonesian students know that their country have red and white flag because we ripped the blue part in the Dutch's flag, which happened in 1945.

thankfully they have Majapahit empire so they can come up with other reason to keep the color without changing the constitution.

Fun fact : when monaco ask Indonesia to change flag, monaco use one of there past and old kingdom (which it red and white). Meanwhile Indonesia shows more older flags than monaco (Majapahit Empire). Because of that monaco finally agree on Indonesia flag.

Well, Indonesian flag came from one of their ancient empire called Majapahit
That's the real reason why Monaco can't do anything about it

Fun fact: Indonesia's red and white flag has become a tradition in the past like the Majapahit Empire
and on independence day they actually cut the red, white, blue Dutch flag into red and white.
