For the most part, developer options are for.. well, developers. But there are some things in there that can be useful for the average user like the ability to change animation scales (makes the phone feel faster) among others.

Press the volume down button + power button at the same time for 1/2 seconds, doesn't work on all phones, but it does on a lot of them.

You can download Firefox beta browser, and install an ''old'' flash.apk that worked on 4.0. Once installed, you can browse flash websites with the firefox browser

Get a Google Nexus phone, that way you can update as soon as a new Android OS comes out, and there is no contract so you can upgrade your phone every year, unlike your current 2 year contract.

Does the nexus 4 have android store on it or is it just play store? And does the play store have apps like customisation apps?

Thanks for the video..tried everything...works fine except the space bar input thing while messaging and also the swipe in the chrome doesn't work. I am using 4.2.1
