A Prophet Warns John MacArthur of the Error of His Teaching

A man claiming to be a prophet disrupted John MacArthur's sermon recently to rebuke him on his teaching on cessationism and to warn him to repent.

"You have grieved the Holy Spirit of God. Your doctrine of cessation is in error. He has been grieved John McCarthur, I've been sent here to tell you that.
You are sharpening the sword and they are cutting each other! You do not believe in prophets, you are looking at one. God have mercy on you and teach you the truth!
Your doctrine of cessation is in error, John McCarthur! It's in error! I've been sent to tell you it's in error.
For the unbeliever, repent of your sins, repent for the time is close, you don't have time, Jesus Christ is coming back soon! God bless you people of God! Bless you people!"

The voice of the Prophetic booms through the auditorium, like it was amplified by a mic, but of course he was not using a microphone or you would have heard the thumping as he was being handled by the men escorting him out. In fact, the voice of the prophet outmatched Mccarthur's by several decibels, even though MC was mic'd. The Holy Spirit was heard by all that day, and it came from a bold servant, not from the pulpit.

The young man was right. MacArthur has been preaching against the move and gifts of the Holy Spirit for decades to the public. I'm sure this prophet or others have tried to talk to or write MacArthur to no avail. These big ministry preachers make themselves inaccessible to the ecclesia, so sometimes this is the only way the message can be delivered.

The religious did the same and worse to all the prophets throughout the Bible up to and including Jesus Himself. This is not a surprise. I pray for the people who follow MacArthur. Myself having been one of them for many years. I believed in cessationism and thought his doctrine was on point. But I've come to see things much differently. Praise the Lord for the GOOD NEWS that we ARE free! Not "will be" but ARE!

I can tell you 100% that he's right! I've met very few people with the gift of prophecy and they've gave me chills with things they told me from God. In know way they new me or had known... furthermore, I've had one experience where my sister told me of 3 events to happen, God told her to tell me. They happened exactly as she said and named the people in them. Yes, It's a rare gift, but there are still seers!

The false doctrine of cessationism is why 95% of the church teaches religion instead of relationship, and why those pastors and priests as well as their congregations have no victory in life because they do not know their identity in Christ. The enemy loves this false doctrine because it keeps powerless Christians sitting in pews for decades that don't know how to wield their authority in Jesus' name.

Seriously! Who does John MacArthur think he is? A man was giving a Revelation during church, and he should of listened! That's what is supposed to happen during worship and sermons. The Holy Spirit gives words, prophecy, spiritual gifts, tounges, healing, etc. A pastor should never interrupt a man's Revelation, let alone have him removed! How dare he do that to a brother in Christ! He was trying to warn him. Above Reproach!!

It's not just his cessationism that is in error, it's the doctrine of Calvinism that leads MANY to the gates of hell.

However, cessationism keeps people in bondage, by removing DELIVERANCE from the body of Christ.

Cessationism in a nut shell is this:

2 Timothy 3:5-7

I don't know how John MacArthur gets around this one.

I believe God sent the prophet on a mission to save John MacArthur's soul from judgement.

That's not the only false preaching he teaches. Many defend him mightily with anger toward the one speaking out against his doctrines. It's disappointing to see people not willing to love the Truth more than a man.

We just heard the Holy Spirit speak through a man! Did your heart stop like mine? This was old testament, this was old school, this was sacred!! Ooh Father, more please? Raise up more real MALE disciples like this dear brother, for weary sisters like me. Come soon to collect us, I'm so grieved here. The wolves Father, they are everywhere, preying. I'm going to listen to this again and again because it is really you speaking and I want to hear the voice of my Father.

I respect John MacArthur greatly for his boldness and Biblical teaching BUT no one is perfect except for Christ! Hopefully he will search his heart and understand that these gifts may be rare today BUT definitely DO still exist! Grateful for this prophet in calling out his hardening of heart towards the spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit! Amen

Its good that John MacArthur was warned!. That man is a real prophet. His message resonated with my spirit.
