So many ML projects online are great for beginners, but will not take you beyond that stage. In this video, I will share the project that could be the single best machine learning project that will take you from beginner to pro and give you that unfair advantage!
Enjoy 💛

Really cool man. I work as an Software/ML Engineer predominantly with tensorflow, I am currently in the process of learning PyTorch (I already know tensorflow a bit, but there seems to be a liking towards PyTorch nowadays while the sole purpose of reimplementing a paper). I just wanted you to please like a video regarding how to implement a paper from scratch (YT Video idead - Maybe you can create a playlist out of this demonstrating each an every step you have said here). Also give us a list of beginner friendly papers to implement. I am super excited for this. One important thing please give us template for the entire project structure (different folders with its own set of .py/.pynb files) so as to how to reimplement an ML paper.

Hey man your videos are awesome, can you do a part 2 for this video explaining how to start reading papers as a beginner or if possible give an order of topics ranking them from easy to implement to the hard ones which might need more experience. If you can do that it would be really great.

Great video! Q: how implementing a paper might be a better approach to showcase my skills instead of building a project that has a practical purpose?

This video just described my masters degree lol!

Would it be possible to schedule a one on one session to discuss advice on how to build a practical portfolio in ML/AI?

Great video! Came here from another one, where you talk about „recreating a paper“, because I didn’t understand what that meant 😂
Was really surprised to find an answer right in the next video I open.

Hey Boris, actually i will be going for my Masters in CS in USA with AI/ML Specialization. I plan on reimplementing ML papers using PyTorch, Fine tune LLM models (even open source ones from Ollama wherein we have to download the model) during my course. My question is what sort of machine/laptop do i require for such type of workload as an AI Engineer. Are macbooks enough ? Especially the air M2/M3 . I can't afford the pro models or should i go for windows machine with a dedicated Nvidia GPU ? . Really confused with this aspect.

if there is already a code along with that paper, do we refer to it from the start?

Great video! Would love to see you do this end to end either on a YT Live or a pre-recorded version, this would greatly help people who have never implemented it.
Can you also share a sample github of your implementation that got you the deepmind internship?

Actually I am a 2nd year student ug cse and I am currently doing DSA I literally don't have any interest but still for the sake of doing I am doing
I had intrest in full stack web development but as the saturation increased I personally felt this is not for me I even had tried a bit so now my main goal is Machine learning (AI/DS)
I have 2 questions for you mainly
1. Is it very hard to crack ml jobs or any gen ai jobs as a btech student like they often say you need PhD masters etc etc so how hard it is and how possible is it

2. I got a basic idea about we have to learn maths, python, ml, dl, etc etc
But still as you are a engineer in itself which is a very great opportunity for me to learn from such a mentor I want an crystal clear explanation from where to start, how to start and how would you start if you were me ?

I am really greatful and thank you if you have read this message .
Please feel free to reply in your own way.
Thank you.

Perfect timing Boris! I was just reimplementing Show, Attend and Tell and I was just starting to lose my mind😅 This video gave me the push I wanted. Btw, just out of curiosity, which paper did you reimplement that got you an interview at DeepMind?

When you say paper, you should say "research paper." Good video.

are there any papers you would recommend for beginners, that require say lesser resources and can be trained on free tier colab?

I have even built an new architecture for my research paper.
I'm a final year CSE student from India.
Still I'm not getting any interview calls. 😢

Can you give me some tips on how can I showcase my skills to the recruiters.
