Surviving the Night Lost in the Woods with No Food or Water - Stormy Weather and Minimal Gear

It's a stormy day as I'm hiking deep in the forest of the Appalachian Plateau when I get mixed up and lose the trail. I'm in a remote area, far from the nearest road. It's getting late in the day, I don't want to risk trying to navigate in the dark, so I decide to set up camp for the night and resume hiking the next day to find my way back to my truck. All I brought with me was my "survival lighter" with some items attached to it that I utilize to help me survive the night along with a rain jacket, camera gear, and lights. I have no food or water, so I have to live off the land. The rain and storms make things a little more challenging.

I like that you were honest and showed the stuff that didn't work and needed to be revamped as well. Survival is about stacking wins and minimizing losses.

I’ve watched a lot of guys who have channels like this, but this gentleman is in my mind, the most authentic, genuine survivalist, I think I’ve seen, and man he just really delivers USEFUL info without a bag full of overpriced gear.

I was wondering if he was using HD foil in his tape roll. I’ve been wrapping duct tape around my Bic’s since I was a soldier, but never had enough sense to tuck supplies to the tape. Freaking brilliant.
