The younger generation doesn't get how important Eminem was for changing the rap game. Hip Hop was pure black music, everyone who wasn't, was cast out and made fun of. Eminem managed to not only be successful but become one of the if not THE most successful rapper AND gain all the possible respect and adoration from the black rap community. This is such a huge accomplishment. He basically laid path for every white rapper after (Mac Miller, G-Eazy, Macklemore). Without Em, none of them would had a chance up there or it at the least would have been MUCH more difficult to gain respect.
