hi, i've been going around on these vids specifically to warn people not to do this. please do not listen to influencers doing tiktoks and shorts telling you to fill your electric air fryer with water and soapy chemicals and turn it on. i don't know who is teaching you all to do this but it's extremely dangerous. just soak the tray and grill for 3 minutes and scrub it in the sink.

People do not clean this way, the best that will happen is getting grease into your plumbings.
Instead pour hot water + vinegar and clean with a sponge brush. Then wait til the mixture cool down. All the grease will get on the top or the side. Use a silicon spatula to get all and throw into the bin. The water should no more contain grease if it's well done.

If you clean the fryer after every use, it will never be too difficult to clean. Water and electricity do NOT go together.

Why not put soap and warm water on the frying container and let sit for a while before brushing it off with non-abrasive sponge?

I have no problem cleaning the pans. But, today, when i tried to make boiled eggs in my air fryer, I noticed bits of food on the shells. Yuck. This tells me that the inside needs to be cleaned as well. I was looking for tips on how to safely accomplish the cleaning.

Call me old fashioned but I just wash mine by hand after it is fairly cooled off

This might damage electrical system permanently as airfryer is designed for dry cooking only. Also it could be a fire hazard or electric shock

I Wipe mine with kitchen paper then wash it so easily, no oil is going in my sink

Big deal, this cleans the baskets, which is easy to do by hand or dishwasher but the inside walls of the air fryer are what are hard to clean.

Don't do it. Water will be blown all over the place. The foam will be blaster through the machine. She cooked it for 20m on 200°, yet no steam comes off of it... Water won't go hotter than 100°c. Pour in boiling water, twice if you wish, with a good grease removed, oven cleaner, dish soap amd give it time.

You're not supposed to pour grease down your sink. It's bad for the plumbing.

This does nothing, if you pour in boiling water its as hot as it can get so why are you cooking the water? 😂. Just leave to soak in boiling soapy water and then scrub
