I got a Miele heat pump dryer it’s old now but gold but been fixed twice only sensors bought it 2nd hand a few years ago to replace my old faithful white knight condenser tumble dryer it’s uses 60p less electricity per hour then my old C energy rated condenser dryer.
It’s in my hallway cupboard but it’s a big cupboard can get cold in there but all I find is it takes slightly longer…
for how efficient it is I really don’t care it takes 30 to 45 minutes longer than my old timed drying one this one has sensor dry, and don’t believe the BS that they don’t dry it dries fine bar pillows and feather coats but my washing machine is a combo 2in1 so I just use that if need be for things like that but hardly ever do I need to. Can’t speak for all makes and models but my Miele eco comfort is great. They are definitely the future for drying 💯

The heat pump dryers wear out quicker due to the increased running times, and the cost of repair is higher.

Must be something only found outside the U.S. We all use electric or gas heat & just exhaust the hot humid air through a vent outside.

That man just explained one and the same thing and applied it on two machines differently :D

That’s not what a heat pump is or does. Did you just guess at what a heat pump could feasibly be?
