I had an aunt who experienced an NDE during the birth of her second child. I grew up hearing her story and the things she saw. It was way before there was even the term NDE as far as I know. But that made me forever interested in these type experiences. I have heard numerous stories of mothers having this happen during the birth of their child. It is really amazing that any of us make it into the world and amazing that ANY woman can survive the birthing experience. Hats off to moms!!! Thanks for sharing.

I love that she called it an “after life experience” because she did die and get to encounter what goes on after the death of the body. People who share their stories have actually been physically dead when they’ve encountered the things they report. NDE just doesn’t quite cut it, since near means close to, just about, or almost. After life experience neatly sums it all up.
