Mother's infant decapitated during childbirth: Lawsuit | FOX 5 News

It is an absolutely heartbreaking and graphic story that may not be suitable for everyone. A young Clayton County mother and father have sued their OBGYN and Southern Regional Hospital after they claim the doctor's negligence led to their baby being decapitated during childbirth. In the wrongful death lawsuit filed Wednesday morning, the couple claims the hospital covered up their baby's death.

I got stuck at the shoulders while being born a nurse laid across my moms abdomen and said “when I push, you push” nobody tried to yank me out by my head. That was in 1971 when doctors still said smoking was safe.

If that doctor could do this, imagine what else they have done to other unsuspecting parents. They need to open up an investigation on the births carried out by this individual. This is truly horrible!!!! As a mother, I cannot imagine their pain. I’ve had 2 c-secs and my first baby got a cut on her eyebrow so near to her eye. My husband was the one who noticed it and the staff quickly took our baby to check on her. I know my story does not compare, but it’s so scary to think something like this can happen. And to think they tried to cover it up is beyond shameful. Praying for strength for the parents. RIP little angel.
