A lot of male parrots and parakeets will bond with female humans. Same with female to male. Happens a lot with caged birds.

This must be the tiniest and bravest bodyguard I've ever seen. Imagine having the courage to attack an animal about 200 times bigger than you.

I love how the spicy birb copied the boyfriend’s whistle and sung it to his person, like “Listen to this beautiful song I created just for you.” 😂

Those damn cockatiels are some of the smartest little shits ive ever seen. Back in the late 80s i went to a friend's place to play cards for the evening and someone there had one and you could whistle a little tune, it would come over to you and listen for a minute, then sing it back to you and bow his head for a couple head scratches....he was so smart and terribly cool and cute.

As a person who doesn't like changes I understand the little guy . Some of us need a little time to embrace someone new .

My mom and dad had a cockatiel they adopted when he was just a baby. He talked and whistled up a storm until he got to be about 20 years old. Then he just went silent. One night when he was 23, they heard him in his cage going through his entire repertoire of words and songs. They got up to check on him and he was lying on the floor of his cage having a seizure. He must have had the equivalent of seeing his life flash before his eyes before he died. There are worse ways to go out than whistling the theme song to The Andy Griffith Show.

There! This man has his EQ sorted out. He understood the importance of alliance. He as observant and then put in the hard work on top. Good job, Sir!

"We've grown [closer] over time... a little bit" at least he's realistic lol

He might not be attached to him like he is his mom, but that little whistle that sounded like him mimicking him at the end definitely shows he frown on him a little and that’s beyond precious

The bird is so cute and protective over his mom. I had a peach face love bird and he was always with me even came with me to school. It’s so cute

She's got a keeper, he trying to win over her protective bird instead of trying to get her to get rid of him.
