This is a very well explained lecture. Most professors confuse with the mathematics but this lecture explains the concepts in a very non-abstract/interesting manner.

Pretty good. But a little quibble with the jargon: he keeps referring to the primitive cell he drew on the board as a Wigner-Seitz cell, (8:33 or 50:33) but strictly speaking it's not, since it's not centered on the lattice point.(the shape of the Wigner-Seitz cell of face centered cubic lattice is a rhombic dodecahedron, not a tetrahedron) Just substitute the words "primitive cell" in for "Wigner-Seitz cell" and the rest of the discussion is correct though.
