Latex is a typesetting engine where as Texworks is only a front end (editor) for editing .tex documents. Latex is the engine that does all the work. Texworks is only an editor. For example in this video the editor being used by the presenter is called Texshop (the most widely used editor by mathematicians). There are many other editors for Latex as well :)

I created a file using texshop, I saved it then 5 different files are saved. But I want to retrieve my source code so that I could edit it. please tell me how to do it?

Used Version 3.51 (3.51) TexShop, CMD + click the source window Hello World, won't show the red circle in the preview window.

Did I miss some thing?

in the beginning, command+N was used to create new document. What did you do to close or delete them?

Excuse me sir, there is no option that called "TeX document" in my File Format. Do I Have to download it? And where can I find it?

When I click on the word in the editor, nothing happens, unlike in your video where Latex finds where the word is in the document. Do I need to change some setting to have this? Thank you,
