I kind of understand the UK and Ireland as they’re very similar culturally and right next to each other. But Turkey and Italy make no sense, why can’t they each have their own tournaments?
Both countries are more than capable of hosting by themselves, Ireland arguably needs the UK to host alongside them

I'M have a recommendation for the hosting.
We have to play a qualifier matches [ UEFA Euro 2028 qualifier] between UK countries and Republic of Ireland will qualify directly as co hosts becoz of separate country and as well football association. But England Scotland and Wales will come under United Kingdom. The top team from UK will qualified as host and other team will compete in qualifiers. I think it will be a fair reason for selecting a host


Edit: England rejected for direct qualification as co hosts so, there will be huge chances for wales Scotland and Northern Ireland to capture as co hosts slot.

UK and Ireland should have England and Ireland be the instant qualified because England and Ireland will have the most stadiums. Dublin will be the major Irish stadium and England will have Wembley, Manchester, Liverpool, London and other large cities with large stadiums. Scotland will probably just have Glasgow and maybe 1 other city have a stadium.

It’s probably easier to say UK but it’s Scotland England Wales Ireland and Northern Ireland. There’s 4 different countries in the UK bracket and all play against each other

I like the host sharing when it gives smaller nations a chance who wouldn’t be able to do it alone, like Austria and Switzerland in 2008 or Ireland now. But why Italy and Türkiye? They are not even that close geographically and absolutely able to do it alone. 2032 should have been held in Türkiye and 2036 potentially in Italy
