Old Trafford is currently not in great shape. So the owner’s probably wouldn’t want to have to deal with the faff of renovating

Anyone that's been to both the Etihad and Old Trafford recently and doesn't support either of the Manchester clubs will know why the Etihad is a better choice anyway. Basically Old Trafford has been let go in to such a state of disrepair that the Etihad now by far the better stadium, it's also closer to the city centre. For the sake of all genuine Man Utd fans it would be great when they finally get owners who care about the club and fans and not see it as a vehicle to leverage debt and profit from.

Unfortunate that we couldn’t watch teams play in Luton😂

Glazers should be ashamed that they've let our stadium deteriorate so much we can't host the euros. Old Trafford can't host not because we don't want to, but because our stadium is not good enough

Don't forget the bizzare choice of having Aviva stsdium in Ireland and not Croke park, the much bigger stadium even tough the GAA who owns the stadium agreed to have it for the euros

Old Trafford is collapsing like Casement. Etihad is a much more modern stadium, just like the new Everton Stadium over Anfield. (Also regulations)

Casement park- used to be a GAA stadium If you know what that is Fiago. Hope you check it out- it’s a very good sport. Sad now it’s falling apart but yes it used to be very good- never got to see a match there but people have said it to be amazing.Just hope you check out GAA🙏🏼 Also for the Republic of Ireland Croke Park has a capacity of 82, 300. Is a GAA Stadium but has hosted many concerts so I don’t see why it can’t be used as a stadium, holds more than Wembley! It also has hosted some football matches when the Aviva stadium was being renovated.

Villa park and St James’s will host some of the best matches you just know it. I’d take those over Anfield and Old Trafford every day

As a Northern Irish man I have to laugh at Casement Park, originally a GAA pitch that held huge games and now looks like a training ground for young hoods😂

Pretty sure Casement Park will be a completely new stadium by 2028, but it was really only chosen so they didn’t leave out Northern Ireland

Croke park in Dublin misses out. An iconic stadium in Ireland. It holds 80 thousand which includes standing. With all seater it’s 69 thousand. It’s part of Irish culture heritage
