Using granular xylitol to brush a baby's teeth is a great way to promote good bacteria and promote great oral health.

Place a teaspoon of granular xylitol in a small container. Take a dry toothbrush, dampen, and then dip the toothbrush in the granular xylitol. Softly brush the baby's teeth. The xylitol has a nice sweet taste that your baby will love and is setting up a lifetime of great oral health.

This would have been so valuable to know with my first of five babies in 1982. I always thought baby teeth mattered. Every night after dinner, they each got a turn lying on the dinner table bench with their heads resting in my lap for a thorough flossing and brushing. Nobody fought it, as it was our family routine. After breakfast, they got to practice and afterward I would "check" their work. Before the teeth, I gave them toothbrushes to chew on. I wish I had known about the origins of bacteria. Whenever anyone got sick, I washed the brushes in the dishwasher. They got new ones every three months. They rarely had cavities and none had permanant teeth cavities--until they left home. Sigh...

Thank you for your help! My 2 year old has cavities already in her front teeth, I believe it’s from breastfeeding. Also I am having toothache and don’t want to do a root canal or take the antibiotics. Your videos are so helpful 🙏

Thank you so much! I follow your system for myself and love it but didn’t know how to use it on my toddler. I noticed tonight she has red puffy gums on her top teeth, so I brushed softly and they started to bleed! Besides the granule Xylitol is there anything else I should do to help my baby’s gum disease? Thanks!

Hello, what would be the protocol for kids who are older than a toddler? 5-10 years old? Thank you!

Is this mean that kids don’t really need to brush teeth at all as long as you providing them xylitol daily? When do they need to start cleaning teeth with your complete mouth care system?

Hello, do you have any complete system that you recommend for babies and young children? I have children of 6.4 and 2 and I already bought the xylitol and the mints and the crest paste that you recommend in your adult system.I don't know what else I can do. The 2 and 4 have a lot of tooth decay and they move very fast🥲🥹

I'm not sure if you are thinking of brushing your teeth with xylitol crystals, but most adults need to clean their teeth with products that do more and enhance the beneficial effects of xylitol. Xylitol is "preventive" and helps make your mouth healthier moving forward. If, however, you have fillings in teeth or existing plaque problems, gum recession or gum disease - then you need more help than simply using xylitol. Xylitol mints and gum (or granules) are an essential part of my overall program for ultimate oral health but to clean adult teeth (unless your teeth are absolutely pristine and you have zero fillings and no problems) then I recommend my Complete Mouth Care System alongside xylitol . The System synergistically boosts the benefits of xylitol and helps natural tooth and gum healing. Check out the details of my Complete Mouth Care System at DrEllie.com

My 5 year old won't eat the mints (even berry) I wonder if this method can still help him. (He has 4 small cavities) we want to do the best we can do at home to heal them.
