To remove the tips properly you have to pull them out by the two little vents. Never pull on the rubber itself. This is the most important thing to know.

I accidentally left my AirPods in a pocket when I washed my shorts. 😳I was so mad at myself for not checking the pockets. 😤

I let them dry totally and over two years later they still work great! 😮. But not a recommended cleaning method!! 😊

Alcohol should be fine to clean the inside of the case. Just dip the end of q-tip and leave the case open sin e alcohol will dry fast. Or use the dry side of the q-tip or the push the dry microfiber in there. In general, alcohol is great with electronics and my friend who owned a UBreakIFix recommended using that when you dont have special solutions for cleaning.

How I used to clean mine, is I would wash them wish dish soap and water a bit and then they would look and feel new. After a couple months though, they of course fell apart due to the glue getting weak due to washing. So washing them works well if you're doing it once a month or so, but dont wash them every week like I did.. Lol

Just use over the ear headphones to avoid infections if you are prone to them. No matter how clean, as soon as I use in ear headphones my ears are swollen, so I just don't but them at all

Do you have any tips on selecting or maintaining cleaning gloves? I have really sensitive skin on my hands, but I find that gloves get sweaty, abrasive, and irritating pretty quickly.

I wanted to warn you to be REALLY careful while cleaning the ear tips because mine ripped while I was doing that step.. luckily I still had the extra ear tips and yet that was not a good experience
