That is not Lunada Bay. That is along the Bluff Top trail north of Lunada Bay and south of Bluff Cove. Lunada Bay is south of the High School, this happened north of the High School.

Well it was 445 in the morning. Got too close to the edge one went the others tried to save them and off they all went

The incident happened at about midnight. It took the one young man at least four hours to get to the street to get help.

Everyone trying to grab/save everyone else - like at Yellowstone.
First person slips reaches up you grab/him or her now you're both
going over. Happened at a rooftop party at my grad school as well.
Two dead. Unstable wall that gave way. They weren't familiar with
the building or the unstable wall - but residents were. i.e. Party off
of a flyer around school.

Did the cliff edge crumble beneath them? This could have been caused by natural erosion. Stay away from edges.
