A homeless man seeks shelter in an abandoned building, unaware of the horror that waits for him.

My senior animation piece for UArts. Watch it at night, preferably with some good headphones.

the fact that this man found a heart in a wall in an abandoned building and decided to eat it scares me more than that ghost

Reminds me of one of those really creepy book stories. Man walked by a butchery store window and saw a liver for sale. Dude loved liver, so he bought it and had his wife cook it up for him. After he ate it, a ghost appears and asks where her liver is. The wife just points at her husband and rats him out. The story ends after he screams in terror.

Poor guy. He didn’t seem to have any malicious intent, he just wanted somewhere to stay so he wouldn’t freeze to death.

What a video! Poor guy didn't even question why meat would be in the wall or that the gas still works, he was just starving. Absolutely LOVE this animation style with 3d models. Jump scare was spot on too!

I did not expect her to talk. Completely caught me off guard added to the horror. Also, I don't know how you produce your sounds but they're downright disturbing and help to bring the story to life. Great job.

Honestly, Ghost Lady wasn't being unreasonable. Man walks in, pulls your heart out and eats it, you're entitled to demand it back.

I do love the mix of 2D animation and model backgrounds. The real torch light is a brilliant touch.

Here’s a tip: if something comes out of the walls... eat it

There are two types of protagonists in David Homero's videos. There's that woman at pleasant inn who has common sense, and there's this man... who thought eating something unidentified that fell down a bizarre hole in an abandoned house is somehow a good idea

This scared the shit out of me. I've been desensitized to horror but the moment see says "give me my heart" and screamed it just scared me. Thanks David for keeping e up at night you rule

Great short film. I didn't realise at first that the backgrounds were actual sets, but it add a whole extra layer or creepy. Very nice touch.

anyone feel a Silent Hill-esqe vibe from this? from the abandoned bldg, to the creepy artifacts, and weird 'wall heart'? AWESOME DAVID!

What's more scarier is, in the last he tried to run to the exit, just imagine being so close to that exit and not able to get through it .

This is my favorite horror animation from you! The main character is tragic because all he wants is something to eat and then the realization/consequence of eating what he ate is creepy!
Hope more people take notice of your animation! 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I just realized he uses an actual setup for the flashlight shots and it is barely noticeable. God damn do i appreciate your work.

The way the ghost moved is really unsettling, like a spider. To be fair, dude ate a heart he found in a wall. He didn't deserve to die, but the ghost wasn't completely wrong to be angry
